Long Boat Key, Sarasota, Florida

We would like to visit here during planned hols in early April. Last time we were there we stayed at The Longboat Key Club which was great, but a little pricey...

Just wondered if any one has any other ideas/suggestions/recomendations.....?

We are looking for accommodation for 2 adults plus 2 kids (10 & 5).

Any input gratefully received!

Try Anna Maria Island too. Next Key along - more to do there than Long Boat, which I always found a little quiet.

We stayed here last year - it was fantastic, just the thing after a week in Orlando visiting the parks !

I always use Hotwire.com when flying to the States.
You don't know what hotel you're gonna get til you book the price and area you're interested in - however we have never had less than 3* and around 30- 50% cheaper than any other means of booking.
