SNOW?!?!?!

Had to leave work early to collect kids yesterday as after school clubs closed. Told all schools would be closed today and even took a whole load of work home.

Got out this morning an there less bl00dy snow on the ground than when I went to bed at 1.20, let alone than there was yesterday morning!

No fair sounds like most of you lot have all got some and all I get in North Suffolk is a load of rain!!!

Don't worry, we haven't got any left either. It snowed on and off in our area all yesterday and none of it settled.

we were told to expect ~10cms of snow in our area and that driving conditions would be trecharous.

In reality, even on our ungrttied street the snow isn't lying and although it is still falling now, it's lying as slush not snow.

Time to stop believing the forcasters

It's bloody tropical here in the SW! Not a snow flake in sight and if they do turn up it'll never settle

TVR Tuscan should be one of the most fun cars in the snow though!

Hope all you nice people that have got snow enjoy it though. I've had to leave mrs at home with 3 grumpy, stroppy, kids who had spent the best part of last night putting together an armarda of snowman building materials.

A pox on over optermistic weatherpersons everywhere!

We had about 1 and a half inches but it has now turned to rain and most of it has now melted.

Obviously we've got a bit of global warming round here...

...all we're seeing is sleet.

Makes you think, doesn't it, that there can't be a "god" or "supreme being".

I mean what use is sleet??? Nobody would have been daft enough to design all this and go - "oh look let's have some fun and give some people we don't like some cold rain that you can't see through but it doesn't lay on the ground and look pretty and let you do fun things....."

All this talk of 5cm here and 10cm is no good.

I want feet of it goddamit, to be properly snowed in and have to walk to the local farm to get your milk.

Weather today its just not the same as the old stuff...

made a snowman yesterday and still had to knock 10cm+ of fresh snow off the car this morning.

trust me the attraction wears thin very quickly, especially when you are stuck at 30mph due to ungritted roads.
