Stag Do

OK, it's getting to crunch time and I have to decide what to do for my stag night. The best man is still looking around for ideas.

Budget around £100-£150 each, 15-20 people.

Karting is unlikely - they'll all expect me to do that.

Maybe paintball - but it hurts and they'll all unload onto me! Even so, where to go after that?

Hire a hotel suite and have a Gentleman's black tie dinner with port and chauvenistic merriment?

School Disco in London?

Still can't decide... ideas please!

Oh, and most of us will be 30-40yrs old

School Discos are in my experience the nightclub equivalent of pound shops.

We did a days 4x4 driving and then out with VIP passes in Edinburgh for one of them, that was a good laugh and about that sort of money. Package affair hotel and all that organised for you.

Whatever you do, dont go paintballing the night after your stag do. Last time I went there was a group there doing this. Zombie attack!

O.k, I'll admit, a friend of mine runs the Malaga branch, but it's a good deal for a weekend away in spain.

they organise Deep Sea fishing, karting, watersports, turkish baths and the usual (strippers and nightclubs)

No, I'm not on commission, just thinking of possibilities...

Whats wrong with a simple karting/track day then heavy on the drinking to the early hours? Keeping it simple may not be getting your exotic gland puckering up but will command a high turnout.

Remember to shake them all down for handcuffs/cling film - they may be 30s but I (for one) still have a glint in my eye.

Thanks for the ideas - Circle line looks like a good idea. Followed by a proper booze-up of course

The daytime activity will be optional, but the main event will be evening. Looks like we're leaning towards paintball and then VIP clubbing...

Rent a Scottish castle with a black tie dinner in the evening - quad biking, clay pigeon shooting etc in the day. Not sure how much it would cost but you have about £4k to play with so might do off season?
