The wreck of HMS Victory has been found in the Channel, it's contents are thought to be worth close to a billion dollars.

the odyssey explorer was berthed in hull docks last week, wondered what they were upto as the lst time it came in was on the way back from finding the spanish wreck and its treasure.

now that looks like a job i could get into!

The brass cannons should be in the same condition as when they went into the water of Casquet rocks. Epic find in terms of British Navel history.

There was another Victory before that, built in 1588 and did great work in many battles.

The bronze for the Victoria Cross came from a captured Chinese-made cannon used by the Russians at Sebastopol during the Crimean War.

Cheers, Speaking of which. Does anyone know where i can get a copy of the Jeremy Clarkson show he did on the Victoria Cross?

I think it was called "The Victoria Cross: For Valour"

Not sure about legit copies but it is certainly out and about on the web wink
