Come on then, PH is good for stuff like this. Snow may make some people miserable but as I live near some big hills with lots of snow and have a long weekend booked I want to buy a sledge and go out to play.

Nothing too complex needed just something fast and suitable for an adult pretending to be 12 again biggrin

Just use a bin liner with some snow in it.

do a google, you can get some seriously OTT sledges to set you apart from the people on tea trays...

Tea trays and massive inner tubes were the sledge of choice where I were a lad.

Just a basic plastic one for a fiver will do. More important is the hill and the snow not the sledge.

I just went down on a tractor inner tube, smooth as an S500.

So we haven't had "snow" for years, where have all the sledges/toboggans been hidden?

Bin liners are no good. They rip too easily. Go to a garden centre and get some rubble sacks. They are thicker and go really well.

When I was a kid and we didn't have the Internet I'm sure we had just as much fun with a five quid plastic sled from the local petrol station as any uber-branded sled would provide?

Let's face it, it'll be rusting in the garage in five days time.
