They're still at it. Law & order is getting worse.
Discussion
The scum causing violence in my town (Basingstoke Station) that I've documented in the past on P&P in other threads are at it still in an area they've been terrorising for the past few months. Soon they are going to kill someone and without being dramatic, no one is safe. I turned up shortly after the latest incident last night - in short a bloke on his way through a busy area to the train station to catch his train back to Farnborough, in his mid to late 30's and quite able looking, was beaten to the ground. Not happy with this the miscreants then stamp and kick him in the head leaving him with a broken jaw and cheekbone (updated)
The police know who they are but do nothing about it. I know it's not the front line coppers fault but something is seriously amiss with law and order at the moment and these scumbags know it.

As i mentioned briefly on another thread we [cabbies] have become aware of a particular group of feral youths that hang around the station especially late in the evening.
They have been responsible for a number of assaults, 5 of which i have witnessed and as i am not always at the station all the time i suspect this figure is likely to be higher.
The size of the group fluctuates from 3-4 to as many as ( approx ) 10.They pick on innocent passers-by,the very nature of cowardice dictating that easy targets are their preferred order of the day.
Last night they were at it again beating a bloke to the ground and stamping on his head.It took us cabbies about 5 seconds to intervene,by which time it was too late and the bloke was covered in claret, the side of his face had been smashed ( which looked like a hamster storing food with a lump the size of a golf ball ).
A broken jaw or cheekbone the bloke was in too much pain to cry or yelp.
The ringleader and his 2nd in command ( for want of a better expression ) are about 17/18 years old with the natural agility and fitness that comes with being that age.
Whilst i dont consider them "hard cases" they certainly are thugs and that`s a lesson in itself - its not tough guys we need to fear in life its evil guys ( and girls for that matter as a few of the extended pack are girls and they injured another [innocent] young lady only a few weeks ago up at the station ).
So be aware next time you find yourself in or around the station area after dark ,especially if you are,as it were, past your peak.
Description ? The usual street wear for that age group ( hoodie tops and jogging/sports trousers ) with the girls appearing to sport that hairstyle known as the Croydon facelift.
Take note and take care.

Its happening around the area in front of the station, in full view of Cameras yet it doesn't bother the attackers - they have no fear!My view is the police are beaten and it's maybe a time for every one to take measures to protect themselves, sadly, even if it means arming ourselves

They are very careful who they pick on, normally those who can't defend themselves such as the odd businessman, female student nurse beaten to a pulp, students etc. Last night is particularly worrying because the victim, although alone, looked "able" which signifies the attackers are becoming more confident of their destructive ablilities as a group.Don't be daft. No one was speeding - there is no easy revenue to collect in this case. The local OB clearly have far more important things to do than prosecuting Basingstoke's feral scum.
Just how hard would it be to have (at least) PCSOs patrolling an area where violent assaults have been KNOWN to occur?
Why is this kind of thing just allowed to fester and continue?
Can the OB not see the direct relationship to this, and the erosion of respect they are experiencing from law-abiding MOPs?

When making a statement concerning one of this gangs other victims, a female student nurse who took a battering, I enquired how many coppers were on duty this particular Wednesday night for an area covering 200 square miles, the answer was 8 coppers plus 1 sargeant plus any traffic cops. The impression I got was the police are down to their bare bones in the way of manpower. It's probably not a problem confined just to my area.Just how hard would it be to have (at least) PCSOs patrolling an area where violent assaults have been KNOWN to occur?

Have you/people written to your MP, newspapers, chief of police etc? Maybe if this was opened up and flayed our for all to see someone might be shamed into doing something? As said in other posts this could get much worse over the next generation or two until much harder long term remedies can be brought into force - if there are any. This could well turn into a type of 'silent civil war' between the ferals and those of us trying to lead a law abiding life, protecting ourselves and our property.

Why don't you and a bunch of mates just go down there and kick fvck out of them?
Believe me when I was trying to console a sobbing bloodied student nurse after she took a beating it crossed my mind. In reality I've got too much to lose, as have most of us. The ferals on the other hand haven't.Speed Matters | The Pie & Piston Archive | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
