Right I’m off again. It’s Monday I’ve got a banging headache caused by a combination of being forced to go the gym and a lost box set which kept me up all night wondering how a woman that hot could go out with a hobbit... And today I’m fking hacked off with animal rights morons trying to get personal details of our office. Whilst I doubt that many fellow PHers are involved in such non-sense I hope they will empathise with my bile venting...

Dear Hippies,

Listen here my funny hat wearing, work dodging chums. Firstly not only do we not test cosmetics in animals. No one fking does. It’s been banned for over a decade now which is probably more than half a lifetime for most of you fkwits.

I also would like to complain about the pictures you bds parade around Princess Street depicting horrific images of, I’ll agree, animal torture. Now I’ll also agree that they would discourage anyone from supporting even the most justified of animal testing were it not for the fact the majority of leaked photos were taken over 3 decades ago and are obscenely out of date. You fking retards.

There were atrocities committed in animal testing laboratories but the people involved have long ago been discredited and their work has been dismissed as unscientific. Many of them have been ruined by the work they did (and rightfully so!). Animal testing is now conducted to stricter regulations than what you will find in clinical trials of human beings. You can’t test on animals without government permissions and this requires strong scientific reasoning and justification. If you have a problem with the current regulations you should write to your local MP. The government pulls the strings. Not the laboratories. Just to add as well; there is no alternative to animal testing. Using animals is an expensive laborious process if there was another way of doing it the industry would implement it in a heartbeat.

What really doesn’t help your concerns is standing outside laboratories hurling abuse at hard working people because you have never taken the time out from your daily routine of getting up from your bed in your mother’s attic, putting on your hemp hat, smoking weed and then piling into your mate’s 1980’s VW Golf to do some fking research yourself about what you're protesting about.

You consider yourself to be intelligent individuals with a higher standard of ethics and morality to the rest of us do you? Right well, to quote what an animal rights protestor said to a young woman I work with, “You shove batteries up dog’s arses. I’ve got your registration. I’m going to fking kill you”, Moral high ground? Intelligent? Justified? Atypical?- No, no, no and good god no.

How hypocritical I find if that you would resign human beings to a life of suffering for killing a rat that is bred for purpose and treated well (for a rat!). Let’s not forget what that purpose is either shall we? To save human lives, thousands of them, perhaps even millions. Is that worth a thousand rats? A million?- Of course it is... Well maybe not yours beardy.

In terms of morality we may all be equals in the sense that we’re all living creatures capable of suffering. But the suggestion that we’re all equals in sense of the value of life is both morally abhorrent and ridiculous. Your life may be equal to that of a rodent but human life as a whole is worth more than an animal. I shan’t bother even elaborating that point.

There’s really no conspiracy. We don’t all love killing things. In my experience most people involved in these jobs do it to feel part of the process of making medicines and to provide a service to society. Many even have a fondness for animals.

Now stop calling my office pretending to be someone official, get a haircut, get a job and fk off you brain dead self assured parasites. Oh and you might want to stop using any form of medicine unless you want to encourage the testing. Enjoy your easily avoided death.

Also Watership Down was not a fking documentary nor was Bambi or any Disney fking Pixar film.

Kind Regards,

Common Sense.

Very good GT - now how are you going to get it to them?

I suggest printing several hundred, then throwing them out of windows over the protesters....

Otherwise you have wasted your time writing it if none of them read it.

It's getting emailed to all the major animal campaign websites. I can't do it in work though because it could be traced.

The "stop HLS" lot are top of the list.

Print that on to card that's the correct thickness for roach (see Rizzla card) put some trippy colours on the other side & the hippies will carry it everywhere.

G_T - if there's one group I truly loathe it's the Animal Rights Terrorists.

They have attempted murder before and will do so again. It's sad because they actually believe in their hypocritical, untenable, and irrational views so completely they are willing to kill.

The world will be a better place without them. yes

Or charged at the very least.

You need an "edit 2" for the grammar police.

That letter'd hit the point home more if you got rid of all the swearing, but it's a well constructed argument.

Substitute the words "Animal Rights Terrorists" with "Religious Terrorists" and your comment is still 100% accurate.

Any belief system when taken to the extreme is dangerous because it devalues human life in comparison to the value of "the cause".

But do you really need to use animals ?

Couldn't you test on bankers instead of rats ?

The staff wouldn't be as reluctant to inflict pain, they would be less emotionally involved, there is no shortage of them, the results would be more relevant to humans, and, ultimately, there are some things even a rat won't do.
