PH has plenty of female members it seems.
Many of them are regular posters in the P&P.
That's great.
But given that they are on PH I assume they are interested in cars/driving.
Again, great.
My question then is:
"Why do hardly any of the women post in General Gassing?"
Genuinely interested.

one theory is that there are more than it seems, as some aren't recognised as being women, and they don't advertise the fact.
I guess that's the answer. I was just thinking of obvious female usernames that you see in P&P...
ali kat, Penny-Lope, Rach*, etc...
T'is all. Ignore me, I'm bored.

I do too....just don't want to make a fool of myself (do that enough here
)
I tend to read threads, but never comment....way over my head
As soon as I'd started this thread I went to GG and saw you had just posted. Typical.

I do sometimes, more in the spotted threads than the technical ones, just don't have the knowledge to provide, but read and learn a lot. Am often perusing the 'Yesterday's Heroes/Clasic car' forum, and TVR too. Sometimes flick through events, and other areas.
Hello Gretchen, long time no see.I'm the same, I read GG and Yesterday's Hero, but unless it's something to do with identifying a car, I don't usually have enough knowledge to add anything.

I do, now and again, but when on "serious car stuff" usually head for the TVR section as more relevant to my current needs! Many of them are regular posters in the P&P.

I like the car orientated company, but I suppose the 'girly' gossip side gets the better of me hence posting in here...along with most of the chaps
