Why not?Give me referendums for all significant issues and devolve power to local organisations for less significant problems and I will support the system (well if I can't have an Anarcho-capitalism system).
The idea that one individual would represent all my views is far fetched, that they could represent accurately the full range of views in their constituency is beyond belief. Then you have the problem of party politics, does your elected representative put forward your views and concerns to the best of his ability or of the party he's a of member? Why exactly do we have political parties?
