bd big asteroid passed within 45k miles of earth

The worrying thing is that it was only spotted last Saturday yikes

Must have been made up, Bruce Willis would have noticed and done something about it.....

Still, I bet that would have made a bit of a mess if it had hit us. You have to wonder whether NASA et al knew all about it and didn't mention it to save mass hysteria.

Certainly would. An object travelling at cometary speeds impacts the earth over a densely (sp?) populated area and it's going to ruin a lot of peoples day.
