Is this a bit of a stalker function on a phone?

This lass I know sent me two texts yesterday and she asked me why I didn't text back for a few hours as she 'knew I had received them'.



Who uses this Delivery report function then? As it appears lots of people do and get angry if you don't text back.

I used to a while back until I found out that I was being charged a 'return rate' for the report on Orange so turned them off...

It's this new instant world we live in, where we are supposed to react to everything straight away rather than be focussed on what we are currently doing. Just what is it with girls and texting? I see so many women driving these days that just can't leave the bloody thing alone.

It's not a "read" report - just that your phone received it - your phone could be away from you or put on silent etc and you simply didn't read the message yet....or you could be blunt with her and tell her you saw it was a message from her and you couldn't be arsed reading her ramblings

i used to use it all the time, but as above orange charge 0.9p per report so i turned it off.

Be honest with her. Tell her it's because she bores you a little.

Also, tell her that you didn't reply immediately because you and some friends spent ages laughing at how dull her and her texts were.

I doubt she'll send you many more after that.
