Yeah, I did it once when I went to Amsterdam. The hotel was superb, but im sure it tells you more details if you click on it?

Yes, Booked for London last year and got a lovely hotel. Would certainly do it again.

Nearly did last weekend, but found a hotel in their normal listings that was fine.

Then rang the hotel and got it £15pn cheaper...

Can't see the point in lastminute if its cheaper going direct confused

If you check some of the specific details of the "Top Secret" hotel against some of those in the capital you can usually work out which ones they are based upon no of starts and approximate distance from attractions/tube stations etc.

If you copy and paste the blurb about the hotel into Google (other search engines are available) it will normally return what hotel it is, Last Minute.com just rip the information from the hotels site or a travel agents brochure...

Hell no.

I'm pretty picky with hotels. And I've stayed in some 5 star ones that frankly were not worth the rating. Also I like my hotel decor clean and modern - and plenty of otherwise top hotels look like a granny's living room.

No way.
