Parking in Winchester on a Saturday

Need to be near to the cathedral, probably parked most of the afternoon and well into the evening - hopefully not costing an arm and a leg, and reasonably safe from unwanted attention. Presumably it will be rammed with shoppers...

Any ideas?

The Brooks car park is probably the best long term I would say

I dunno if you can stay there into the evening though as I am sure there is a large neon sign o nthe way in saying you have to be otu by a certain time

Just over the road is Middle Brook Car Park but its short stay IIRC and open spaced.

The one over the road is the first link and it is definitely long stay, you can leave your car there into the night.

Winchester is pretty cheap and there's plenty of parking, so...park anywhere!
