BBC 4's Fast Lady. 10pm If you missed this earlier in the week, take a look tonight. Penelope Keith tells the story of Edwardian 'it girl' and motoring pioneer Dorothy Levitt. ..how on earth in 1905 did she manage to travel from London to Liverpool in such a short time. No 'proper' roads or maps. Great show, well I enjoyed it.

Saw it earlier in the week. Penny did a good job mastering the controls of her De Dion Bouton too.

She did a wonderful job. Sometimes the car was on a low loader for filming purposes. Having driven this sort of car, trying to master them and talk to camera whilst remembering a script at the same time takes some doing, hence the low loader.
