The Yanks have always loved a bit of whooping and cheering, just look at any of the USA-special episodes of Question Time and compare them to our audiences. On one hand, its good to see a bit of passion and involvement, on the other you just want Dimbleby to tell them all to shut their fecking pie holes occasionally.

No, as in football there is no requirement to put a ball in a hole, the object is to put it into a goal. Therefore, as even a person with the meanest of intelligence will see, it is unnecessary for anyone to shout "get in the hole"
