This was prompted by a comment about certain shoe sizes being more popular than one might think.

And you know what they say about men with big feet?

They wear big shoes

I'm a size 12, occasionally larger.

And it's true.

Size 8 1/2....wide fitting.

And I don't feel the need to wear 7 pairs of thick wool socks to convince myself I'm a size 12.

hehe

Depending upon the make, in a few places I'm a 11, but mainly I vary between 12 and 13. And since I'm 6'3" I don't look like I have clown feet either.

I am fed up of being told a continental size 46 is a UK 12 - and i find i have to shop around for decent size 12s. I think the shoe industry's demographic statistics that ditate the distribution of sizes is way out of date and it's a right pita as the size 12s often sell out fast - I think we should start a riot!!!
