I suppose it was only a matter of time, would you not think the company/pilot acted in thier best interests...so maybe go after the birds.

An interesting law firm, but the success and achievements of these people (society type couples in NY) is quite sickening compared to some of us mere mortals.

No I think it is quite fair to claim for damaged luggage, that is why you have insurance.Claims for damaged luggage will be next
The $5k should cover that already, anything else is just greed and personally I find it disgraceful.
I wouldn't think it unreasonable if they could show the airline had been negligent with maintenance or something similar, if they'd died it just would've been their families suing instead. But for post-traumatic stress disorder...?! Sometimes I wonder why I'm trying to work for a living.

The airline has sent the passengers a letter of apology, a $5,000 (£3,500) cheque to assist with “immediate needs”, reimbursement for their tickets and a promise to be upgraded to first class on flights until March 10.
That offer seems more than generous! Personally, I'd simply be happy to be alive. Forums | The Pie & Piston Archive | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
