Glaziers -repairing / replacing windows, how much?
Discussion
Window cleaner managed to break a couple of windows the other day (thanks chap, though I know it was an accident) and need to get them replaced. Its not an emergency as I have secondary glazing and they are only small windows. But I have no idea as to how much this will cost. The windows are about 2 foot by 2 foot panes in a bigger window, so not huge. The only issue is they are upstairs in the bedroom and bathrooms.
So, what should I be aiming at when I call up some glaziers? Or is it easier to try and give it a go myself? Cant be that hard can it? What sharp glass and ladders, that sounds safe doesn't it?

Sorry, wooden frames (one is a sash the other is a fixed pane) and its just single glazing - I have secondary glazing on the inside but this can be easily moved as necessary.
I had exactly the same issue.Came to about £170 for two panes (in my case about 40cms by 40cms).
The guy will come round with a ladder and do most of the work from the outside.
I am in Fulham London and the guy was local.
