Don't like Ibiza much.

We're going to Majorca that same time period.

Really?
Ah well never mind it's dirt cheap and away from home.

If you go to any travel agent's type site you will get a general weather chart for the Balearics showing seasonal sun and rain over the year.
It does rain there (being in the middle of a large body of water) but the temperatures will be comfortable and any rain evaporates away after a few hours.

It's a long while since I went to Ibiza - it has never been the same since I left.

Go to the north of the island, the tip of the island, a resort called Portinax. Went there 10 times as a kid, quiet and peaceful and some nice beaches couple with the crystal clear sea. Can't beat it for a wind down.

Not sure what you are going out there for, if it is to get wasted for a few days, then avoid it but if it is to relax and unwind for a few days then head up there. Not sure what it will be like in April but its worth heading up there to find out.

I'm heading back this summer for the first time in five years and can't wait, bit of a second home to me.

it might be cheap to fly out but with a near 1 to 1 exchange rate beer is pretty expensive

Er.... no.

Me, a hippy?
