Not yet but I noticed on friday that ive been on basic rate tax since July last year, turns out that my last employers never informed the tax office that i'd left so they thought I was working two jobs.
And yes I know im a muppet, I will be checking my payslips a little more carefully in future!

End of Jan...? Why is there such a deadline, tax rebates are due when their due surely, not to some deadline??
it was due to some money being due to people the year there babys were born. something like that. and due to Pistonheads I found out that I had a week to get the letter off beofre the deadline no one mentioned on the TV, papers etc....posted the forum off and got the cheque today. as I said first for me getting something from the tax man.
hopfully someone might have the link the the original thread. shall see if I can find it

Gordon Brown steals more than half your income then gives back a pittance and you're happy?
why not, don't matter who's "in charge" I always seem to be paying the tax man for many years. to get a bit back that I would have not known about apart from this fourm pointing it out is better than nothing at all I would have thought?RemaL said:
