Right people going to Vegas on a 5 day stag-do in April and need some good suggestions for places to see and things to do, apart from the obvious drinking and hoares. Already booked to shoot some guns in the desert but is there anywhere in particular we should visit/see??

are you doing the gun shop or something different?

There is a racetrack where you can drive a NASCAR.

TI has a free pirate show, Bellagio fountains are pretty good..

Most other shows you have to book in advance.

have a look here for hotel offers:

There is an excellent museum of Indian artefacts and ceremonial clothing that you should not visit.....You lucky tart, just spend thousands in any of the gambling joints, thousands on hookers, thousands on drugs and then just blow the rest.

I did a stag trip to Vegas a few years ago-a 5 day trip.Stayed at the Bellagio, did the usual gambling bit, went to the 'stratosphere' which was fun but frightening.Did the helicopter trip over the Hoover dam and through the Grand Canyon, toured the various casinos.
Make sure you visit 'Cheetahs' and the old town too

It was one of the best trips Ive ever had! wink

If you are there on the 17th the Killers are playing, depending upon your likes it would be something to do for one night, it is their home town so getting tickets could be tough.

Saw them at the NEC on Thursday and they were good. As has been said above, strip joints, casinos, that inverted bungee on the roof of one of the buildings. Fountains are a bit gay for a stag do wink

I went to Vegas for 5 nights for my stag do with 5 mates and had a ball.

Problem is I was so out of it most of the time I don't really remember what happened! I do remember that we hired a plane to fly over the Grand Canyon but then we all fell asleep on the runway so it was a tiny bit of a waste.......

I was also introduced to a young girl who was paid to dance in private for me. Fortunately the laws on alcohol are so tight in 'clubs' I was sober at that point and I remember that event.

Great location, great fun and a lifetime of fuzzy memories biggrin

Where are you going for the shooting? Done it a few times and might have some thoughts on the place you've booked.

As said before I came along - what Vegas does best is excess. Gamble, drink, visit the bar on the top of the Palms hotel, Cheetah's wink (or to be honest, any of 'those' clubs), me and mates also hired a variety of cars from a place in the middle of the strip and took them out into the desert for a very enjoyable few hours smile. Always good to hit the pools during the day as well and 'get your game on'.

To be honest, i'm sure you won't need any advice (or remember it) when you're out there - Vegas tends to have it's way with you anyway!

These days?

Nothing. Vegas is a ghost town.
