Sorry, second in my series of 'dullest threads ever' today, but a new job / business and a lot more working from home than I expected means I'm in urgent need of a good working environment at home.

Having trawled the likes of ikea for inspiration my room is as dull and unimaginative as possible. So, a thinly veiled 'show me yours so I can steal your ideas thread' is just what's needed hehe Judging by previous threads like the kitchens and garages ones I'm sure some of you have some lovely offices / study room. Short of plonking a desk and some rickety old shelves in the spare bedroom I'm all out of ideas.

Also, where the hell do you buy good sized L-shaped wooden desks these days, I can't find one for love nor money locally. Any links to sellers of nice office equipment, particularly desks and decent chairs that isn't Ikea would be appreciated smile

So, show the world where you work from when at home smile

Sorry to have to disappoint you but my home office is completely furnished by Ikea, their Verksam office chair is the best I've ever sat in.

I was actually contemplating suffixing 'not of carpet shops, staples or ikea' to my previous post, but thought nah, they'll not be that predictable hehe

So, getting back to the thread topic, share pictures of your home office for lazy northern bloke who lacks interior design ability to get motivated by.

Ignore the dog, the office is at the top of the garden. Works for me, especially in Summer.

I figure he has just done some 'Business' in that nice office and was contemplating some over time, before the photographer turned up

The only shot I have of mine handy. To the right of this shot is some ikea pigeon holes (Expedit), and to the left some floating ikea shelves (Lack) and sofabed.

General dogsbody. Occasionally used for bouncing ideas off; blue sky thinking, run it up the flag pole prior to customer presentations - that sort of thing.

That's really nice. Very similar to one of the bedrooms I used to occupy at home, even looks to be the same colour paint.

This is mine just after it was built so there's not any furniture in it at this point.

It used to be a manky old cellar. A friend of mine who is a fantastic builder did it and it's a great job, the whole thing is build in thermalite blocks on a thich reinforced concrete pad. Warm as toast. It's got all filing cabinets and stuff in now and a framed photo of Mrs Thatcher above my desk smile

This is the set-up I have now although this pic is from my previous flat where the layout was the same!
