shoutITV1 tonight.....10pm

"In a rare no-holds-barred interview with Richard Branson, the Virgin boss and entrepreneur talks to Piers about the night he spent in a cell, the times when he faced financial despair and the moment he thought he was going to die."

I can't believe this man is getting any airtime at all (morgan that is), let alone his own fking chat show.

He is a tosser of the highest order, do enough people really like him to warrant TV producers paying him good money?!

Have people already forgotten why he was sacked from his old day job?!

Tenner says it'll been the most cringeworthy sycophancy since the Bashir 'interview' of that awful Spencer woman.

Seems ok, its the usual number dropping Morgan affair, but its ok. He seems to be able to get a decent amount out of people..

Unless they do a one of special "Piers Morgan meets....his maker." Then I for one will never watch the odious t*sser.

Clarkson earned my undying respect when he tw*tted him.

+1

I will never watch a programme with that slimy tw@t in since he purposefully endangered our troops by printing allegations and pictures of abuse and torture he knew were untrue to sell a few more copies of his gutter rag.

If I ever meet him I'll do a lot worse than Clarkson did.

And +2.

I find it reprehensible that Morgan, one of the most repellent individuals in the media (and lets face it - he's up against some pretty stiff competition) should be given a lucrative chat show deal.

But then Richard Bacon, coke sniffing Blue Peter presenter was given a nice deal on The Big Breakfast who seemed intent on "celebrating" his hilarious transgression.... rolleyes

And then there's Kate Moss, and that Doherty tw@t etc etc....

Seems setting a bad example is now a positive thing that the law and the media seem to have no problem with.

I can't stand Peirs Morgan, (and I would get linched by the editorial team at work for mentioning his name! Yes, I work for a certain red top rag!) but have to admit that both the Beardy Branson and the Sharon Osborne interviews were very enlightening.

I certainly give Branson his due, considering he trys to keep his family and personal life out of the media, he did not try to avoid any of the questions, and thought it was very brave of him to answer questions about his daughter who died early in her life, even though it is something which still affects him (judging by his reaction)
