crit aire certificate location

logically enough les froggies tell you to put the crit air cert bottom right of the windscreen. Fine for a LHD car but technically illegal on a UK RHD car.

does it matter. do les froggies have some fiendishly cunning gallic video technology aimed at the bottom right of a windscreen as the car passes though an entry point into a city? or can it attach the certificate anywhere on the windscreen?

We put ours top left of windscreen, (UK Car) been into Paris a few times, never had any comments/fines etc.

For it to be kerbside I imagine so the person reading it does not need to step out into the road.

Mine's bottom left, I've never had a problem.
