Hopefully someone can advise:
Saab Aero Hot Estate Petrol 2004 Auto 97k miles

The car when cold behaves as though the clutch is slipping until warmed up.

I have potentially sourced a secondhand gearbox but should i buy with the torque convertor and ECU?

Is my diagnosis of the gearbox being knackered correct?

Thanks Neil

Is it low on fluid? No dipstick? - is it leaking fluid?

Was the gearbox slipping before the fluid change ?
If not, could be they filled it with the wrong fluid - It should be ATF 3309 spec, not the more common Dexron type.

There were two leaks, flow and return pipe unions to the oil cooler
