.. well, I was nearing the end of me 220 mile jaunt to Woodbury Salterton when a Sag pulled onto the M5 a quarter of a mile or more in front of me. (M5(S) Jn 27/28)
Try as my lil van might, I never got closer than 200 yards to get a closer look. Even the psychic 'pistonhead behind you, slow down mate' didn't work. Red one, marked up as a pace car with either Pace Car or Race Car across the back along with a couple of other decals.
I had to settle for just looking at the exhaust as whoever was driving it let it lope up to the ton and pull away.
Just as I'd given up, a silver Tuscan went past on the northbound side.
If you were driving either, I smiled and waved.
(The other thing that made me smile was a mile later on the back of a forfour Smart, above the model name in the road film someone had written 'NOT SO')
