Spotted you coming off the ferry into studland .. answered a question I had asked myself earlier in the day ... if I had driven the chim down today would it make it on and off the ferry

May have been me, I was definitely on the ferry both ways on Saturday afternoon, mine's dark blue though rather than black. Any other details you can remember - reg. no, female passenger? Twas certainly a nice day for it.

Ah well I had my sunglasses on - could well have been dark blue not black. I remember that it had an intersting plate, but as I have the memory of a goldfish I cant recall what it was.

It must have been about 2:30 is I saw you coming off the ferry going towards swanage.

Lovely day for it , I was so jealous !

Anyway its good to know the Chim can make it on the ferry....now if I can just get the extra seats fitted in the back for the kids we are all set...

Yep it would have been 2:30, plate is tvr 99s. Think we got the ferry back around 6. Definitely no problems with the car on the ferry! Will have the same problem in one month though regarding an extra seat requirement, wonder if I can stow him/her/it on the back shelf? Otherwise we'll have to start taking the girlfriend's car on such trips rather than mine

give us a wave next time!

I have done a number of TVRCC & PH runs over the ferry = even wedges & Ss do not have a clearance problem so the later cars should have no problem.

Ahh well munky theres my problem , had the kids in the back of the Omega - and no matter what I offer them in the way of sweets they refuse to ride in the boot of the chim.

Yes it was definately you I recall that plate.

Must remember to wave in future so that people can say ' why was that bloke in the clapped out omega waving frantically ? has one of the wheels come off ?'
