Fitting a new exhaust
Discussion
I've just spent the day under my S1 growing increasing frustrated/angry/desparate as I struggled to remove the old exhaust. Ended up having to cut the end of the inlet pipe off. Took me bloody ages but got it out in the end. Then, in the fading daylight, I had a quick attempt at getting the new one in. Well, I guess my IQ isn't quite high enough to solve the puzzle of how to fit large exhaust into small space. I reckon there must be a complex sequence of tilts, rotations, and sideways movements involved. Either that or some magic words I know not.
here is a link that takes you through changing an elise exhaust hope its helpfull www.elises.co.uk/diy/exhaust/index.html

This was a useful post for me. I am in the market for a new exhaust and was going to fit it myself but now I think ill pay someone else to wrestle with it. Incidently which one did you go for? Im undecided at the moment but I definatly need something deep and throaty
There is only 1 choice. Eliseparts (assuming it is for an S1). Beautifully made and stainless it sounds the absolute nuts. It's loud though so leave the Cat in or your neighbours will lynch you from the nearest lamppost
