Just had a day at the Jonny Herbert experience at Rockingham, where I could drive BMW M3s, Z4s, Single seaters and Elises. It's the first time I've had a drive on track in an Elise and they are fantastic cars. At the handling track you get to choose an Elise or a Mini Cooper S. As the place is run by BMW they give you a good sales pitch for the Mini - "It is actually a bit faster than the Elise around the handling track sir" - No thanks I'll try the Elise. I not only passed all the minis but got around again and lapped most of them ! Top car.

Now I just need to find a good one under £10k!

Problem is so is everyone else is after a sub £10K Elise, problem is good £12k ones are rare.

When I come across one I shall be buying it! and I'm better placed than most for finding one
