Really?

The ITG and the like are very expensive filters. You will notice no difference from say a hurricane or motobuild...except in your wallet!

Save the extra cash towards a sports exhaust/CRP or alloy tat!

I have been umming and arring for months and I know that the Itg is the one for me. I have researched till I can write a book on the subject and the ITG is the daddy. It seems to vary from @ £300 to £380. Want to find the cheapest!!

hold on my friend

Be careful here, why do you want the ITG filter?
If it is because it's carbon, you could get the pipercross Viper which is also carbon and costs £250 inc VAT & Delivery.

The bonus about this model is that the air does not need to bend, i.e the airflow is one continuous straight line, the ITG makes the air bend through 90 Degrees.

Air flow is better in straight lines.

Crikey. Everybody has a different opinion. one person tells you air filter A is the best and the nex air filter B and just when you decide, Air filter Z comes from left field.

Why is the ITG more expensive than most? I know expensive doesnt always equal best but I've been informed that the ITG has the best note and is the only real air filter to give any sort of power gain.

But I know I'm ablout to be told otherwise...

they are all the same (well the cold air kits anyway) - youre looking at 3-4bhp....buy the cheapest one you like the look of...dunno how much a Carbon Hurricane is.

a K&N panel filter for £30 in your airbox flows enough air for 230bhp...so you could argue save the money and stick some Piper 270 cams in there for £500ish and get a real 15bhp

<another opinion> !
