Now what's that bloody noise!?

Picked my car up from it's C service on Wednesday and yesterday a horrible squeeking noise developed. When I got home I pushed down on each corner of the car and found that the noise is coming from the offside front suspension area.

My guess is

- Anti-roll bar mounts
- A ball joint
- Shock absorber

Is there anything I can do to check to track it down? And more importantly is there anything I can oil to stop it from happening?

I've got to drive 300 miles this weekend, is this a bad idea?

Be interested to see if its the same problem I've got. Everytime I turn right theres a horrible squeaking noise, driving me mad and takes away some of the fun of driving really!

Well, spraying the anti-roll bar mounts with some rubber and nylon lubricant has reduced the squeak from the front, but now I have a squeak coming from my rear offside shock absorber!

Argh!
