Help - i can't start my S1 Elise. The key locks and unlocks the doors fine but since last night it won't turn at all in the ignition. Steering lock is on. Tried a good dose of WD40 but still no joy. Anyone got any idea's what the problem might be?
Nightmare mate - have no clue what to suggest other than can you give a Lotus specialists a call and see what they suggest - someone like Sinclaires may be able to offer some advice over the phone, they're very friendly and knowledgeable?
If the steering wheel lock is on, the ignition barrel locks as well. Turn the steering wheel left and right while trying to turn the key in the ignition.

Cheers fella's. Spoke to Simon at Brooke Kensington - reckon the ignition barrel's buggered (literally). Although I am meant to be in Liverpool next week so maybe that's the better option.
