the housing that contains the front indicator has a broken clip that holds the whole thing into the bodywork. Does anyone know where i can source a new housing? Anyone else had this problem as >40mph the indicator jumps out.

easy to fix?

Any advice welcome.

Thanks, Bruce

Yes, one of mine did the same at about 80mph (eerrr, no, actually 55, officer) Scared the daylights out of me. Fortunately the car was still under warranty, and the whole unit was replaced. Apparently Lotus have re-engineered the design, so it doesn't happen anymore.

IIRC this is a fault that Lotus know about and will replace as a recall item. Might be worth giving them or your local dealership a call to ask.

lotus chaps say its an easy fix, so i will get them to send me the part and do it myself. Nearest dealer is >1hour away which i cant be faffed with.

i also nearly soiled myself when it happened
