Hi Guys and Girls,

Great weekend - clear blue sky, sun shining, dry roads and a fantastic blast in my 'liz - bloody cold though!

Now this begs a serious question - I'm nice and warm and toasty once the heater is up to speed and I've got no problems wearing my bobble hat. However, what is the general consensus with regard to driving gloves?

My hands were freezing! Are driving gloves ok or would that be a serious driving fashion faux pas?

Mmmm

Your thoughts on this serious matter are kindy appreciated

I've got some blue Sparco's.. good grip, just about warm enough and I don't care what people think!!!!

Let's face it, everybody else probably thinks you're a poseur cos you've got the roof off in winter, but we know better, don't we boys and girls?

Get yourself some "Sparco" karting or motorsport gloves, then you can wear them on your next trackday!

I was out on a run Saturday and had two think fleeces on and a cap with the heater going, still a bit fresh with the heater cranked up though.

I dont get that problem in the Merc i adjust my grip slightly, 1/4 to 3 rather than the preferred 10 2 2 position and get nice warm mitts.

Better driving gloves than a bucket of sweat in your leather steeering wheel.

Indeed. That's what I have too - a pair of blue Sparco karting gloves. Just about warm enough to keep the cold at bay and plenty of grip & feel.
