Shipping S1 to Aus

I'm thinking of shipping my S1 to Australia. Any thoughts or advice on doing this and what to do before shipping or after? It has been poorly stored for a few years so I was thinking of a bit of a fettle before shipping it later this year. It is an original S1 so perhaps the Bilstein conversion before it goes? Or do I keep it real?
