Hi All
My BBR exhaust is 6 years old no and all the stuffing is gone and it is really too loud and buzzy. All the stuffing has now long been blown out. What I want to do is to angle grid it open, and restuff it with the SS wire wool used by other SS exhaust makers.
Has anyone done this? Any advice as to anyone in the Reading area who can do the job (Stainless steel welding to close up the hole)
Thanks

Dunno if it would be worth it? Normally repackable exhausts are designed as such. Not sure cutting and rewelding it would make much sense.

It's just other than the stuffing it is a perfectly good stainless exhuast, I reckon you could cut, stuff and weld it for a lot less than 300 quid I would have ot pay for a new Stainless exhaust.

A quick update. Sportomotive restuffed the exhaust for me for £100 it is quieter and all the buzzing has gone.
Much cheaper than a new exhaust!
