Appreciate it's a long shot but then there aren't loads of these around.

It's this one on AT (http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202510076960525)

I really fancy one and this fits the bill, but living in London it's about as far away as can be, and I'd be buying pretty blind.

Thanks all

As an ex Cup owner i suggest you join the Elise Cup Owners Group on Facebook if you have it. Pretty sure you will find out the owner there.

If your interested then maybe give Craig Moncrieff Cars a phone for a Pre Purchase Inspection - they are the local central belt Lotus specialist so will likely have done some work on the car previously.

The Scottish Elise site is a lot less active than it used to be - however there is also a Private Scottish Elise Facebook group which may be a good source of info on the car. Also try LEGS (Lotus Elise Group Scotland) - also has a FB group

It’s been for sale for an eternity basically due to the price.
The car is likely worth £44-46k as a 2020 model and a private sale.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Craig Moncrieff has indeed done work on the car previously - appreciate the tip!

I do think it's top money for a private sale that's a long way away, but equally the market is awash with exactly zero alternatives at the moment. The dealer 250 CUPs that have popped up over the past few months have been £5xxxx.

I've also spoken to the seller and he seems like a nice guy - proper petrol head and has been very helpful. He's entitled to hold firm I guess.
