I've a very very vague memory, but are those the symptoms of a sensor on the brake pedal. Coming loose or failing maybe.

Could be brake switch, or front / rear wheel speed sensors. Rears are a synch to replace. Fronts require full bearing assembly. Brake pedal switch requires some gymnastics to replace.

More memory searching...

When i had this, the brake switch didn't fix my problem with those symptoms. It (eventually) was found to be some faulty wiring to the ABS pump.

Ha mine did the same on Sunday too smash

Mixed opinions online if brake pedal switch or abs sensor.

I have ordered a lotus code reader from seriously lotus which is arriving tomorrow. Once I k ow which one needs replacing I will get back online to order it. Fingers crossed its a rear or brake pedal switch!

If you are local to Essex happy to read the codes on yours too if I am successful

I had this on my old 250 Cup. I swapped the brake switch as it was cheap an it's a 5 min job, however mine turned out to be the rear left wheel speed sensor. The loom was dislodged, possibly by me while cleaning the wheel barrel with a brush), and this wore through. I picked up the part from a Vauxhall dealer as it was half the price of the Lotus badged on (that still had the vauxhall PN on).

Now confirmed what mine was.

Have ordered a jaguar x type bosch replacement sensor. Half the price of a lotus one at £21. Great to cross reference parts

Forgot to add, I also had a tc / abs fault due to water getting into the plugs that fit to the rear wheel speed sensors. Fixed by rerouting the wiring, new vinyl tubing and dielectric grease on the plug fitting. All good since. Probably gets in during jet washing etc.

Good shout.
strangley when mine went down it was following a dry run out and no washing.
I do use mine all year round though so will be wise to make sure it is all protected as you say

Also thanks for the picture I was wondering how they fitted in.
Fortunately looks nice and straight forward as long as they are not seized to buggery
