What does this do?

Just wondering what this grub screw does. I presume its something to do with the ancillary shaft that runs underneath it. Does it locate the shaft by a grove in the shaft or is it a greasing port or something?

I think it's one of the blanking screws where the oil galleys have been drilled in the block.

I'm just waiting for the oil and water tanks to come back from powder coating and then I'm pretty much ready to drop the body back on.

Seems all good Baz. Just about covered 300 miles so opened her up quite a few times and she pulls smooth and hard up to the red line. Just needs an oil change and a tighten up.
