I assume this oil is ok for our engines it's on offer at Halfords.

Its semi-Synth not full synthetic. Personally I'd stick with full ester synthetics (not sure halfords actually sell any car oils of that type.

Why do some dealers use semi 10/40 (like TVR POWER) and some like TVR BARNET use Shell 10/40 Full synthetic. ??????????????????

Putting synthetic oil in a new or little used engine the rings do not seal properly and they use oil, as you can see from the oil consumption on some S6 engines, ive said before 15/50 semi synthetic is the best to use in my opinion.

Thanks for the answer, that is going to save me a few quid when i need an oil change..hehe
