So, I can't find the definitive answer - if I buy a new Tom Tom will it work with the GPS link that is created when you plan a route on Google maps?

Is it really simple or do you need additional software to make it work?

Have tried searching but it's not terribly clear.

Cheers..

Yes, saw that but was confused by business adresses - will it work with destinations other than businesses?

Its just sending a reference to a geographic location, not booking you a table wink

I can't see any reason why it wouldnt work, and the send to GPS link is there for an address.

You talk about planning a route. I understand that it sends a destination, not a route. The TT may plan a different route from that in Google Maps.

If you want to transfer routes, you need to use an older model of Tomtom with TYRE (an excellent free software product which lets you transfer Google Maps routes to older TT units).
