tom tom battery life
Discussion
I just changed my trusty old One for a snazzy Via 125.
Love it, but I tried using it without it being plugged in. Battery life was much shorter than I expected. I used it when the battery had 60% life in and it shut off when I got to Barking from Chingford. That's around 20 mins down the north circular.
I got a mains lead for home so charged it fully, took it off the charger and the battery life dropped straightaway to 80%. Is that normal do we think?
It's just a bit of a nuisance having a lead trailing from the cigar lighter in my new 159 which is in the centre console beside the handbrake.

Think I got upto 1.5 hours with no lead from full, although I allways use the lead on trips generally, although this was a basic Tom Tom one with no Bluetooth switched on, I usually switch it off down the motorway make a mental note of the miles on the odometer and switch it back on periodically, last a lot longer then lol.
