Unless i've missed the thread - copilot is now free on android (iphone soon)
you get one free map, I chose UK/ireland.
Its then £19.99 if you want voice guidance + 3d maps
and £24 for other countries (which include "west europe" as a country!)
so for screen only directions connected to a GPS location - free.
Ive downloaded - its a nice little system, plenty of options including 3 alternate route at all times and the choice to favour road types on a slider scale and expected speed on each
it gives the free google a run for its money, and thats the plan I guess, there will be plenty of income for them for the people that pay for the upgrade.
Im already tempted.
Don't know the line on map updates, but they are at least downloaded so no data package usage - UK was 20Mb.
