Hi all - Can anyone advise on a Sat-Nav system that I can purchase and then buy a map of Tunisia for? I have a TomTom but their web site is not showing a map of Tunisia being available yet. I don't mind spending a few quid provided I get what I need.

Cheers

Cheers mate - I'll go & have a look. Somebody has suggested the new Google Maps App for the Iphone which is supposed to give 'Global Mapping' I think I'll look to take all the available Apps and hope one actually works.

Doesn't Google Maps rack up roaming data charges because it keep downloading the map tiles ?

Google does rack up the data roaming charges. Plan A is to go old fashioned and use a map (I used to courier around London with an A-Z taped to the steering wheel) Then, if we are really in the creek, to turn the Sat-Nav on until we get a bearing. We'll be fine!!!!!

Cheers

With skobbler there are no charges when using sat-nav. Really is a great bit of kit for such a small outlay

I've just added the Skobbler app and I can't find Tunisia listed! Is there an alternate list/source I can search?

Cheers

Thanks for your patience!

If I put Skobbler into my Iphone app store I get 6 options. I have purchased and loaded 'GPS Navigation 2' and 'Forever Map' and neither give anywhere near the same comprehensive list of maps you are seeing.
The 'Forever Map' app has more country options than the 'GPS Navi2' but still only lists Turkey starting with a T

Thanks again!
