Hi,

I'm currently looking at updated the dashboard of a 2007 Santa Fe with a double din sat nav/ media player like this one

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271104655419?lpid=54&amp...

But I've never come accross the sat nav system it describes. Windows ce 6.0. The add doesn't say much about it, and I'm struggling to find many reviews on this type of system.

Does anyone have any experience of it? Does it give you a full postcode search option? Can I update it and add maps easily to it? What's it like to use day to day compared to a windscreen mounted system?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Cheers GB

So, I don't know much about this specific unit, but I will say that there has been a splurge lately of units which look OEM but offer additional functionality. For example, I was looking to add navigation to my CLK and there are lots of 'dynavin' units on ebay which offer SatNav, etc.

When I did my research on the dynavin units, and found videos on youtube, the unit looks to be pretty poor quality in terms of software, and some even lean on piracy to get the maps / nav software on there.

You'll probably find a healthy supply of used ones on t'bay, that's what happens to them after a few days!
