A very small query if someone can help me?

The XC70 bus has a towbar kit fitted, which was identified as the largest culprit to a parasitic drain that was flattening the battery (car has been doing very few miles)

The power feed was simply snipped (least cost, most expedient route, given I don't use the 'bar) and the problem went away. I'm just about to sell the car so I'd like to reconnect, and in an ideal world I'd like to insert a connector that is switchable, so any drain could be eliminated, but it would be easy to power up the 'bar when needed. Simple push-to-fit connection preferred, but I'll strip wires if needed biggrin

What do I need to order please?

Yes, that should work as long as it's rated for current and installed on the towbar's main power wire. A weatherproof switch would be the better option.
