I know of Paul Ripley, as he has written a few books on driving, if it is the same guy. Probably built off the back of his work.

Paul Ripley used to write a driving column for the telegraph back in the 90s, among other things. I had a coaching day with him and a colleague (Steve Smith) in approx 1995 and it was absolutely brilliant, so he's not new on the scene as such, though I think he went to live overseas for a while. 22 year old me learned a huge amount about driving which I still use every day.

I wondered what had happened to Paul Ripley, glad he’s still kicking around. Met him on a Ferrari day at Silverstone many years ago, he congratulated me on owning the two cars he truly coveted (a base 993 Carrera and a F355B Fiorano), made me feel 10ft tall.
