Hi all,

Im in the market for a V60 Polestar 3.0 and come across a few options that im going to view on a 14 plate. Just wondering what the main things are to look for on these?

My list so far apart from the normal checks are:
Gearbox oil changes
Haldex services
Ohlins rebuild / work

Is there any other common issues these can have and what to look or listen out for?
Also from owners, what are the 6 speed autos like in these? Looking around it seems the general consensus is its abit of a letdown for this car?

Previously had a V40 so used to the dash layout and buttons etc. and currently in a S60 B5 inscription with all the bells and whilstles but been eyeing up the V60 Polestar for a while now and they are now in my budget.

Cheers in advance for any help / advice.

Have had mine for fours years now, bought with 39,000 miles on it, now about to hit 70,000. Fabulous car. Maintenance wise it’s needed a door handle and two ABS sensors replaced along with the entertainment system which I did myself with a second hand one from EBay. Gets serviced once a year and gives no bother apart from 25mpg average 🙈. Needs new discs and pads soon which seem to only be available from Volvo at circa £2000 ex fitting. Gearbox I think is fine. Obviously not DSG quick but the Polestar tweaks to it have made it a good match for the car. Would thoroughly recommend.

Brakes are expensive. BG Silverstone can service Ohlins.
