What to check on 2017 V40 D4 auto
Discussion
I have a 2013 V40 D3 so I'm not a Volvo newbie - I've been after a D4 for a while and one has come up near me and I'm going to look at it tomorrow or Friday but I know little of the auto box. I know to check for history and what to look at generally but is there anything I should check for
What auto box is it likely to have too? Google suggests it should be the Geartronic box which is more reliable, but it'd be handy to know things before I see it
There's a manual near me too, but that's older...
I've been lurking a while too

Thanks for that - I'm not sure I'll be looking at it because I got a bit of an uneasy feeling about it; she was selling it, but her dad was storing it as she "had a car on her drive" and I needed to talk to him about it. Plus I asked when the gearbox was last serviced and it's been radio silence since.
There's a slightly older manual D4 near me that I think I'll look at instead

Thanks guys, I didn't see the D4 after all, never heard anything back from the seller on some basic questions and decided to just leave it
Was going to look at another D4 manual but that turns out to have an EGR valve failure...
In the meantime, my air con has failed and I just had to put on new tyres and tie rods. So....
