Hi.

Finally after several months and one windscreen disaster, the Aoshima Admiration Celsior is complete. My first VIP car and a few extra details added. Compounding the build time is a 100 photo+ tutorial on my website taken during every stage of construction, which can be found on the links below. The tutorial took 4 hours to compile, so thanks to anyone how looks/reads . It also details the windscreen disaster/solution in full.

Here's the car, hope you like it. It's my 15th build and I wanted to do something special. It is the pride of my model collection
now, but after all that car the next thing I tackle will be a 1:72 Revell BAe Red arrows Hawk.

I think VIP cars are great apart from that whole camber thing (mentioned in more detail in the tutorial). However they're more
complex builds if you include the extra details. Effort is worth it though.

That looks really good, I will have a look at the links when I am back at work at the end of the week.

Loved reading through that - I haven't seen a build thread for a VIP-style car before, so was fun seeing seeing what you've done with it. Particularly liked the way you dealt with the window problem (though buying a new kit for it may have been a little extreme!).
